The New York Public Library Shop stands behind the quality of our literary-inspired apparel and accessories; if you are not completely satisfied, you may return or exchange your purchase within 30 days of delivery.

Return Process

  Initiate Your Return

  Visit our online returns portal and enter your order number and zip code to select the literary items you wish to send back.

• 2.
  Prepare the Package

  Carefully pack your items in their original packaging, ensuring all tags remain attached to garments and accessories.

• 3.
  Print and Attach Label

  Download and print your prepaid shipping label from the portal, then securely affix it to the outside of your return parcel.

• 4.
  Drop Off and Track

  Hand your package to the designated carrier; once we receive and inspect the items, your refund will be issued to the original payment method.
